I am a creative professional with 12+ years experience in web development, UX/UI, interaction design, user research, graphic design, advertising, marketing, team collaboration and leadership. I most enjoy the niche space in between design and development, and engaging each part of the team in order to realize our common goals.

Experience

Invitae

A biotech company devoted to making genetic testing accessible to all. I worked in a crossover role with a focus on UI/UX design and web development.

As a member of the web team, I worked with the internal stakeholders to simplify the complicated process for doctors ordering genetic tests. Beginning with interaction design, we transformed a bulky, multiple-page, multiple-step work-flow into a single page application powered by React/Redux. Other projects include a patient education tool used by genetic counselors. invitae.com
